I am trying to import a custom shader, but when I try to open shaderlab either through Unity or as a stand-alone, it wont open. I’m using a mac, and the icon bounces like it’s about to open, then it closes. Anyone have an idea why this is? I’m using Unity 4.1.2f1.
I’m on OS X too, and don’t recall that happening unless a reboot was required. MonoDevelop had a tendency to force my system into that state. I typically use Xamarin Studio now, even though I don’t get syntax highlighting, because it’s such a superior effort otherwise.
