just finished another monster model for the asset store,
i will give it the original name “Monster 3” ![]()
before i submit i want to make a small environment for the creature, but i cant decide what sort of,
so , any ideas or suggestions?
Perhaps swamp or mud
He looks like a pretty mean cave troll to me, or some type of portal guardian.
I think seeing him in front of a cave would be suitable.
Great looking character - the shadows seem a little too hard edged.
Excellent Creation.
I picture the same environments as suggested above.
One thing I never see animation wise that I would like to is him crawling out of the ground, maybe with a particle effect for the dirt, that would make him great for spawning in levels.
I can picture him in a lot of environments. Like a desert planet with a weak sun.
tnx all!
i was also thinking about making him a gate keeper, so theres a big entrance with 2 “trolls” as guardians.
something like this

ill make a spawning out of ground animation, sure
Nice
I’d use him for sure as one of the ancient evil missions in Voidkeeper.
Excellent.
its accepted ![]()

Better and better…

Awesome, I’ll give it shot, and post back thanks for your hard work!
Hi, Monster 3 is no longer available at Unity asset store. Is it possible to download this from somewhere else? Could it put it in GitHub? Or is there another comparable substitute? Thank you.

Now I can download the fbx and a few png texture files from sketchfab for this monster. With such fbx and png files, will I be able to do what is done in this video with Monster 3?
yes just download the fbx file and it will work fine in unity.
u will need to set the animation clips on import though
But all the animations is in the single fbx file. In Unity, we need separate animations for idle, walk, run, die, attack, etc, in order to make use of each one in animation logic. The fbx file contains all those in a single clip. I have to separate them manually myself? What’s the best tool to separate them? Do you have the animation clips for each action already separated that you can share?
on import settings of fbx file u need to create each clip manually and name it. its not much work. then u can assign them to your animator controller
