More a Question: Animation Importing Workflow?

so, i finally cracked how to get the animations into Unity and i made a successful attempt with my main character… thing is, the animations aren’t finished yet (always the perfectionist i guess. ;P) so, if i’m reading this correctly, does this mean that i’ll have to go back to step 2 each time i have a new animation to import or will unity recognize this and only update what i need with the right FBX file?

asking since wiring him up for the control scheme (though do-able) is a little finicky.

I’m not sure which particular “step 2” you are referring to but Unity should normally import animations correctly as they get updated in the 3D modelling app.
