More then dwarfs [Need honest feedback]

Hey guys,

as I’m only free-time developer its hard for me to complete a project but not impossible. So I need some feedback about my early early early (cant input enough early) Prototype and the game Idea behind it :).

You control dwarfs (or another race humans, goblins etc. only currently only dwarfs).
You give them Jobs. And they solve them if possible.

Okay till now most people gonna see its a currently markt flooded game idea. But they are most times (as far as I see) freebuild do what ever you want. I want it more story driven like find the Dragon and slay him then you would dig gather resources craft weapons, equip your units, defeat smaller mobs and in the end find a dragon and (hopefully) slay him. After you would move to the next level with another mission.

You would make me happy with some honest feedback whether I should stop or continue. And if you like the idea what features would be must have and what features you would hate.

Thanks

Pathfinding:

I hope if you read this far my bad compressed gif is loaded :>

Edit: Oh forgot the world is streamed so they are huuuuuuuuuuuge :).

I think if you want honest feedback you would receive a lot more input by throwing up a demo web player. The screenshots do not really do it for me personally. I get that it’s early prototyping, but screenshots of early prototyping won’t get you anywhere unless let us play the prototype.

Yes I get your point but the problem is there is not much content for a demo. But I go back to programming and may get a demo up in some days. Thanks for the feedback.

I think it should be More Than Dwarfs/Dwarves, not More Then Dwarfs.

A demo would be nice (webplayer preferably) but it looks pretty good. And I agree with TheRealFuzz, I think you misspelled it there.

Yup, it’s than and yes, you should continue. Not much to give feedback on, but the underground background is too different from the textures on the blocks IMO. Throw up a webplayer when you’re ready and we can say more.
