there I have a mesh that is a circle and I want to morph the shape into the shape of a waterdrop (there I have another mesh with the same topology that is the waterdrop).
How could that be done? I assume I would need to alter the vertices by script?
Thanks
This is what is called a Blend Shape, or Shape Key in Blender. You make this in a 3rd party program, like Blender or Maya, and then import the FBX with the Blend Shape included.
That worked. I created shape keys for the object’s mesh in Blender and in Unity I got a SkinnedMeshRenderer for the object then. Now I can modify the actual weight of the blend shapes. In script, I am doing this by theGameObject.GetComponent().SetBlendShapeWeight(). Thanks
