Have been meaning to switch my desktop over to linux for some time now but I don’t want to download a distro that’s too recent to have unity support. I’m particularly eyeing pop!_os or possibly some other version of Ubuntu. The Unity downloads page currently lists Ubuntu 16.04 and 18.04 but surely I can get it working on something more recent than that right?
I’m on Ubuntu 20.4, and have had the best Unity results with Unity 2021.3.15f1.
The specs in the initial download page is probably not maintained properly. The information in docs for editor requirements should be more precise. It also allows chechking the requirements for specific Unity version Unity - Manual: System requirements for Unity 2021 LTS
