Motionbuilder and Mechanim

I am looking on information on how to get Unity to use T poses i made in MotionBuilder(MB) for the process of defining bones in mechanim.

I have made an animation in MB, the animation starts at frame 0, and I have my T position at frames -1 and -2. But Unity ignores these T positions on this single animation. Looking for a solution on how to make Unity recognize my predefined T poses.

Also for people who are having orientation problems importing fbx files from MB. I found that is i save a file to fbx using save/save as in MB - when i open it in Unity i get the orientation problems but when i use save selection in MB on the bone hierarchy - and then drop that fbx into Unity, then i have no problems with orientation.

Instead of making it an animation, you would have to make the t-pose the default exported pose, or the “bind pose”.

You could also just move them in the editor. They don’t have to be in super accurate positions to work.
