I just completed my first Unity project. It’s a mystery game with adventure and point and click elements.
The gameplay is a mix of first person and third person exploration with puzzle solving and item collecting. Mountview Creek tells the story of a young girl revisiting a place from her childhood and retrieving memories from a mysterious occurrence happened ten years before.

I take a look at your screenshots. I must say. Impressive. The quality of your textures and lighting especially in such a game. And yes. The games looks fun. Nice.
I love these kinds of games. I just finished the prologe, good stuff indeed.
I found that sometimes my character would be able to walk off screen without the camera angle changing to follow them, I would have to walk back into shot and then out again to get it to move.
Hi, downloaded, and played it. With some refinement, this will make a great game! I’ve always loved these types of games.
The choreography is very well done. The only small issues I’ve noticed, are: Minor glitches in the programming, such as when your
in the bedroom, if you don’t do things in a certain order, items go back to where they were after cut scenes.
The models, and textures could be better. But other than that, love it.
I started thinking about doing something similar. If you ever want to get together for a project, let me know.
I love it. Reminds me of an old game I played years ago from like '97. Really good though can’t find any but miniscule programming errors which can be fixed in touch up.
Thanks all for your comments! I have just made a webplayer version of the game, I have added the link to the main post. I managed to correct in that version some of the issues reported (like the character not being followed by the camera). I will add those to the standalone soon.
I know. Unfortunately I am not a modeller, I have only started using Blender a few months back. Personally I feel really satisfied with the way that Unity has made my relatively simple models look quite good with just a few lighting and material effects…
Also, the inventory does reset itself when returning to the bedroom… Due to a deadline I had on this project I haven’t quite managed to implement a saving system for the items collected, thus they are just safely placed back where they originally are… but I hope to find the time to amend that.
