Is anyone else getting or seen this glitch where the mouse cursor appears flicker or move rapidly when dragging objects from the hierarchy view?
It looks like the cursor is kind of jumping up and down, but it might be that it’s switching between 2 different pointer styles (it’s too fast for me to be certain).
FYI I’m running Unity 5.2 on my windows 10 laptop. I tried updating my video drivers but that didn’t make any difference. It has a discrete AMD graphics card (R7 m260 I think), as well as an intel HD5500, so not sure if that would make any difference? Other than this everything else appears to work fine.
It’s no biggie, just a little bit annoying when you’re trying to move stuff around.
Yep, same problem here. I have my mouse cursor set to extra large, so I can see that when I drag something in Unity’s Editor, it’s flickering between the Windows cursor and a smaller pointer, I assume Unity’s.
Even when I drag to somewhere that I can’t drag to (so the ‘blocking’ cursor appears), it flickers between that cursor and the usual mouse arrow cursor.
Pretty shabby.

why wont they just enable different mode, when moving one cannot interract with the enviroment of editor and when still they can…
or
if its done differently, then you can try when moving camera we are not just moving in editor but also the what outside of editor thing also, in sense that we are moving with both awsd keys and camera looking around, so it can be done. this cant be that complicated… come on unity, half my time is wasted trying to place things in the damn thing, it should be number one priority, i could make a game a lot quicker, easier and with joy than what is present as i am doing what i am doing…
