Mouse Trouble

Hi everyone,
I’m very newbie in Unity. I have a trouble when I launch Unity 3D 64 bit. When I launch it touchpad of the laptop works, but the mouse doesn’t work. Even when I close Unity, mouse go on without work. I don’t know what’s the problem. I have win 8.1.

This is not a problem with Unity Engine.

i don’t have windows 8, this is for windows 7 (also work on 8 or 8.1)

  • Open Control panel
  • Open Device Manager
  • Look for your device
  • Select Properties > Driver > Update Driver
  • Now windows updates your driver

If that is not work the problem can be one of following

  • The mouse’s driver is created for 32 bit and doesn’t support 64 bit.
  • You doesn’t connected the mouse to your laptop correctly
