The move tool seems to have stopped working and I can no longer pull myself around a scene. When I cycle through q,w,e,r I can see the relevant button go dark. I can rotate the view around, but I can’t use the hand to move somewhere else in the scene.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but when I open my project the problem remains. I created a new test scene, and in this one also I am unable to use move. If I open a new project, the move tool works fine, so it seems to be an issue at the project level.

Can anyone help me with a fix?

If not, I am loathe to recreate the scene from scratch in a new project. Are there any shortcuts to getting a previously constructed scene up and running in another project while still avoiding whatever is causing this problem?

I didn’t manage to fix the move bug itself, but I’ve found a reasonable workaround.

Step 1: Right click on scene and select Export package
Step 2: Start a new project
Step 3: Right click inside assets and select Import package → Custom package

Et voila! Move is back!
