moving a game object across the screen.

I have literally starting Unity, and I have a very poor understanding of it.

What I want to do is for a cube to move from one side of the scene, to another repeatedly. Not with animation, but with Vector movement?

Thanks, Alex

I'm not going to give you the script, I think you need to write it yourself, but what I can give you is a website that helped me start learning Unity. http://www.unity3dstudent.com/category/modules/beginner/

For your script, I recommend you watch the basic translate movement tutorial, then you will want to use either trigger collision detections or use if statements like if (transform.position.x > #){DoSomething}

Good Luck!

Vector3 backNegMove = new Vector3(-1,0,0);

Vector3 move = transform.position+backNegMove;
move = new Vector3(Mathf.Round(move.x/gridSize.x)gridSize.x,
Mathf.Round(move.y
gridSize.y)*gridSize.y,
Mathf.Round(move.z/gridSize.z)*gridSize.z);
transform.position = move;
