Moving terrain

Ok, this has been driving me insane :stuck_out_tongue:

I want to create a tiled, multi-terrained scene. according to the features of Unity 2.1 (which i have) it says that you can do this. It also says

Terrains can now be moved and connected. LOD across terrain edges can be matched with Terrain.SetNeighbors.

but i canā€™t find or figure out how to actually move the terrain, for the life of me! can someone help me please im going crazy lol!

seriously, no one knows? or is this such a noob question that its not even funny?

Is it a trick question? The same way you move any other objectā€¦change the X/Y/Z coordsā€¦

And you can always use a ā€œhelperā€ empty GO to offer the move/rotate/scale handles.

Iā€™m trying both, but the terrainā€™s not going anywhereā€¦

Are you sure youā€™re using 2.1?

well 2.1 is what I paid for. I only bought it like 3 weeks ago. but when I checked the version in the Get info window in the Finder, it said this:

Version: version 2.0.2f2 (13443)

is this supposed to be 2.1 or is it really a previous version?

Ummm, as listed thatā€™s 2.0.2. :stuck_out_tongue: If you were using 2.1.0 it would report that.

You can download the 2.1 installer from here:

ok, iā€™ll give this a shot, thank you so much! I actually downloaded the program like a year ago and gave it a trial run, but didnā€™t actually buy it till about 3 weeks ago, so this must be it. Thanks so much!
