MPM not opening properly

this seems to only happen when I have. the editor window that opens when the engine opens, but when you add an extra player from MPM, it will open that editor rather than the game view. For example, I have a hot reload asset in my project, and when I activate a second instance, it just opens a second instance of the hot reload window like this. the only work around is removing the asset entirely, i was able to reproduce this issues with other Unity 6 verified assets like game creator 2 and A* pathfinding, this issue also happens if I make a custom editor window that starts on the editor startup

I am having this same issue with a different asset, did you happen to find a solution?

Same here. For me it’s Odin Validator that’s duplicated. There’s no layout dropdown to add views and the Virtual Player window often crashes when in this state.
