Multiple bugs with HDRP Wizard

If only the bug reporter didn’t crash every single time I tried to report something! Anyway, I have the following issues:

  • The convert selected materials button, likewise, usually doesn’t work. I’ve been manually setting shaders on autodesk materials all day.
  • When you enter playmode, it will come to the front of all tabs and may even detach itself to sit in the middle of your screen. The wizard cannot be denied! This thing has an ego, I swear. ¬.¬
  • The window is always detached when I start Unity, no matter what I docked it to.
  • Sometimes it’s there, even when I closed it on quit.
  • The convert all built in materials button is sort of pointless because they’re all HDRP anyway. Maybe make it convert any custom materials?

Also, and I think this is related, I keep getting this error when I try to maximise a window in play mode:

I dont think this is a bug, im sure its supposed to work this way?

But yes, i too experienced the window open when entering play mode and it was buggy.

As for non standard materials, what i usually do , is change the non standard shaders to standard (generally most of the texture sets are preserved doing this, and then upgrade, and most of the time it gets it all right, except maybe the masks. Anyways, yea, it can be a pain sort of.

I guess, but I would expect one of these buttons to do something.

Only when in use with a rigidbody, and as most colliders are not attached to a rigidbody (usually) it makes sense to have the default the way it is.
