Multiple MovieTexture synchronisation

Hello,

I have 4 movie textures in a scene. All movies have exactly the same duration and are expected to run at the same rate : the contents of the movies are visually «linked» — 4 different characters making the exact same movements together.

But it’s not the case : some movies are played faster than others so the contents are not linked anymore.

Is there a synchronisation parameter/feature somewhere ?

Thanks !

There is no synchronisation parameter, and you can’t adjust the playback speed of MovieTextures. The best you could hope to do is start each movie at the same time. Unfortunately, MovieTextures have been lacking advanced features for a long time; there are requests on the Feedback site, for instance: http://feedback.unity3d.com/unity/all-categories/1/hot/active/video-seek--scrub-in-movie-tex

If you’re creating a standalone executable, there are some advanced libraries you can use to control playback more finely. There are a couple ideas here: Video playback in Unity - Game Development Stack Exchange and a commercial product here: http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/142416-Released-AVPro-QuickTime

Hello, Sorry, I didn't took the time to reply. Thanks a lot for your answer. I actually started all the movies at the same time, no luck on synchronisation. I am indeed creating a standalone application. I'll dig further into the commercial products and libraries. Thanks !
