Hi guys,
I´m starting to build a personal demo game to show my work as Animator/Modeller,
im wondering how can I create a box where you can see multiple objects inside of it depending on the angle you looking at it.
Much like whats used on Antichamber as seen on this video.
Is it possible to make something similar in Unity?
If you only need to create the visual effect you can do it using some Z buffer tricks. The details are a bit involved so I’ve put together a package to show how it’s done. The basic idea is to create a camera to render each separate scene. To render the scene a window object clears a hole in the z buffer, the scene contents gets rendered, then the hole gets filled back in.
Edit: I’ve noticed that layer names don’t get included in the package. For things to make a bit more sense use these layer names:
User Layer 8 = SceneA
User Layer 9 = SceneB
User Layer 10 = SceneC
User Layer 11 = SceneD

I plan to try out this package, cause this effect is awesome!
Wow Thanks, Gibbonator.
Works perfectly!
