Multiple Physics options for GameObjects?

I stumbled upon this settings in a4. I’m curious, does this mean we will have multiple physics options for game objects in the future? If so, can we know more about it? If not, why is there a selection page and a dropdown for this?

Perhaps it will be possible in the future that GameObjects-Physics will use ECS and Unity.Physics/Havoc in the background.

Yeah, that’s what I want to find out. And also if the annual $400 buys me/us the right to buy that if it’s Havok or we will be cut off entirely like in the case or ECS. I obviously have my guesses, Unity for some reason in this case doesn’t want a little money, they want all the money. Which makes me sad because Havok is the most stable and awesome physics engine I ever worked with (although I’m no means an expert, so it doesn’t mean that much for others).
