I’ve been playing with Unity a while, just a hobbyist, unfortunately not enough hours in the day to really get deep into the engine. But i really like it, and the support, and the community are all awesome. Thanks everyone.
I just recently put my 1st game on the Play Store, still could use some updates though. It’s free to play with Unity Ads, no IAP’s. The Play Store is pretty easy to work with, still learning and determining if IOS is worth it or not.
I will continue to add more features and bonuses and stuff, as well as fine tune the input controls.
Originally I was just focusing on the VR aspect, but much later decided to add a standard mode as well, to hopefully get more downloads by not limiting my audience so much with the requirement of the headset and gamepad.
If you are playing in VR mode, i added an option to allow the user to utilize their devices rear camera as a pass through to the real world. Not that big a deal to take off your headset, but it seemed like a cool feature anyway.
These QRL’s are free too.
I don’t expect to be able to retire from my real job, but the experience and learning were all worth the effort and time. Anyway, enjoy, let me know what you think.
