Let me start by saying I’m a huge fan of Generative AI.
However, to my understanding, Steam is not. I’m wondering if Unity has/will be able to strike a deal with Steam in order to be able to feely use Muse generated assets in Steam games?
Steam did the correct thing. Because in its current state of AI, who will claim the rights of the generated picture is a messy moral decision. Even laws can’t catch up with the AI tech because it is rapidly evolving. But in the end, Steam will allow people to put their games to the platform. Until then, I don’t believe that Unity will make a deal with Steam. I don’t think Steam will care if Unity try to.
