Muse Texture assignment fails on entering Play Mode

Hi, I find Muse Texture very useful and have been using it a lot lately. Thank you to the Unity developers for making this available!

One of the things I like about Muse Texture is that I can drag a generated texture to an object in my scene and it becomes a material and is immediately set up for me. I think this used to work consistently. But now I’m running into an issue. When I do this, it works in the scene but once I hit play the texture (material) disappears and the object goes white like this:

Looks fine, before I press Play:

Then press play, and something’s broken:

The textures are still missing after I exit Play mode. Am I doing something wrong here? I found that I can export the texture as a PNG file to my assets folder, then drag it back in to the object or prefab, it seems to be fine. This is only when I have applied the texture by dragging it directly from the Muse Texture docked window. But the workflow is so much better with direct drag and drop.

For reference: Unity 6000.0.40f1, Muse Texture 1.1.1, both latest at time of posting.

Muse is being replaced with Unity AI and all Muse experimental packages are now sunset. Read more about Unity AI here: Unity AI: AI Game Development Tools & RT3D Software | Unity
