The behaviour of the previous release of my game was that the background music stopped when an ad was playing. I haven’t changed any game code and I’m finding the behaviour is now not the same. All’s that’s changed is that I’ve upgraded to Unity version to 2019.4.29f and upgraded the everything in the package manager to the latest version.
Has something changed where the responsibility to start/stop music between ads is now on the developer rather than Unity?
For your question, may you provide us the SDK version(You can check from the Package Manager) and your app(.apk file or apple store link)? If it is possible, may you provide us a small demo that can reproduce this bug?
I’ve attached a screen shot package manager items and their version.
Here is a link to a video demonstrating the problem in a development build. I can only confirm the iOS build being problematic at the moment.
Thank you for reporting this. This bug still exists in SDK 3.7.3 for the IOS platform, and it will not happen on Android. To fix this temporarily, you can turn off the game music manually when ads start. Our team is working on fixing it and will publish a new version in the future.
You can refer to this workaround . I hope this will help you.
