My character does not look good in Unity

Hi,
I’m very new here, and I wanted to create something in 2D, so I used graphicgale to create a character and creating his sprites for running, but once imported in unity it does not look good, some red pixels appeared and I dont know why, can you help me ? Thanks everyone! The good one is with the white background and the bad is with the blue background when imported in unity !

It’s ok ! I found why it look like it, it’s because of the format in unity of the image, it was compressed, I changed it to truecolor and now it look good ! Only the eyes look a bit weird because they are not white, I’ll found out why and any helps are welcome

your eye white part is transparent in your graphics program and the background is white sooo when you put it on a different background its not white, if you zoom in on the second png you posted the eyes are that same dark blue.

Yeah thx I noticed that too ! I corrected it, it’s better now, I can move on

I can’t select truecolor for imported png. It’s greyed out. Why?

It was greyed on mine too but I clicked somewhere in the box, I dont know where but after I was able to select the format, try to click randomly x)

Which version of Unity you have ? I have 5.5.

There should be a checkbox that says “Override for PC, Mac, & Linux Standalone”. If you click that it should allow you to access the dropbox for Compressed, Truecolor … etc. I hope that helps!
