My deltaTime won't work!!

I keep getting the "behaviour is missing a script " error when I use Time.deltaTime, is there anyway I can fix this?

double click on the error you will see where the object is missing a script what it wants to use. it wont do anything with your Time.deltaTime. just attack a script to the object where it’s missing one and you are ready to go.

this can happen when you delete your javascript but didnt delete it from the object itself.

There are no objects involved in the code at hand(it's just a simple increase this value while time is less than). The behavior script warning applies directly to deltaTime.Time
