Eh… the diffuse, normal map and spec map don’t match up.
The normal map is basically noise, there’s stones defined in the diffuse that aren’t in the normal map and the whole thing’s shiny like it’s made of plastic.
The scale of the stones is also really small, wrapping around like leopard print rather than it being the main components of the wall.
Reference is really important - google image “dry stone wall” or “dry stane dyke” and you’ll see that usually stones are sizeable and nicely chunky - there’s real definition in the surface value.
Thanks! that was just what I was looking for. I know the texture work was really bad. But I was not sure how the workflow between sculpting and texturing was,
So I’ll take a look at those tutorials and work some more on the model.
