I have no idea what it is. I downloaded new nvidia drivers and reinstalled unity several times resulting in the same

Looks fine to me. The big blank areas show what you’ve made so far (which is nothing yet) and the stats for what you have selected (which is also nothing.) Many “Industrial” programs like this take some time to figure out.
Read some intro to Unity stuff and try it.
