Today for the first time I dived into Asset Store seriously for many hours. I’m amazed! There is SO MUCH good stuff there. In every section there are useful things. I compiled a list of at least 50 assets I’m gonna consider for my current project. There is incredible value there!
When I’m in the Asset Store I feel like a kid in a candy store. 
I have a few hundred assets I bought over the years its one of the things that makes unity so good, you can just pick up assets and have them forever (especially good for prototyping).
I love checking it out every day at 9AM EST when the new 24 hour deals change over. Plus there are so many amazing assets that I feel like get lost in the shuffle. I totally agree though that it’s like being a kid in the candy store!
