maybe like real life survival. get a job, find a house, eat, breath, dont get murdered etc. of course if you dont get a job and end up homeless then the real challenge starts. you get bonus points if you make that sweet and totally unique mmorpg in your spare time using the one and only awesome free 3d game engine and end up getting super rich because you didn’t actually pay all the people you tricked into helping you for free. i think this has potential…

I need more clarification on the term “survival”. And also “simulator”. And how might one define “survival simulator”. So many questions I have.

I think walk-em-ups like dear esther, gone home, amnesia, outlast and suchlike are the next big thing, esp cause you feel less like puking in an OR
