I have a dark scene and I went to “project render settings” made the ambient light dark. I have a flashlight on my character, but when I shine my flashlight on the cloth it is still really dark, it won’t react to the light at all. How can I fix this?? here is a screen shot and the settings on the rug that won’t light up. Its happing to the curtains to. Anything using cloth. I tried changing the settings to match what the other objects are using , tried to put a “reflective” shader on it,check and unchecked Cast and receive shadows, nothing changed. still no luck.[35352-cloth+settings.jpg|35352]
I found my answer, and here it is for the next person who has this issue. You need to go into “Project settings”>Player settings>and set your rendering path to “Deferred Lighting” Unfortunalty it only works in Unity Pro version. But i’m still going to look around to see if there is a alternate option.
