My little Monster

I learned about Unity two days ago, so I assembled some of my models and let my figure walk.

It’s creepy when you see it.

what is .7z ?

It’s an archive for you to be able to download it faster. Enjoy.

Don’t use .7z. Not everybody can open it. Just upload a zip, or a webplayer.

what do you guys think about the game so far?

It shows potential. I recommend using mecanim to animate the character, the foot sliding is very apparent.

Good. Which kind of feeling did the lighting, snow and music create in you? Did you look at the scenery from a distance?

Creepy little game :). I kind of like the setting, try and develop a game over that…a spooky snowy abandoned town or some dark ruined planet would be a good start.

Nothing much to critique but a couple of obvious things. Walk animation is not looping, and it’s too slow anyway, just use run as default. Also some better ground and character textures will drastically improve the general look.

I would like to use the kinect for that. Is there some way to record directly into unity?

Alright, there is a new version now. Enjoy.

what do you guys think about the game so far?

i thought it was great. nice and creepy and surreal. its not a game though! its 10x meters x 10 meters and 3 mesh models! i thought it was one of the more interesting things ive played lately! there was abit of a bug for walking on version 1 the legs went stiff

Yeah, it’s no finished game. The legs issue should be fixed in version 2. Thanks for your feedback

Does the resolution work for your screens?

Random fact: The movement of all figures(except one of three cloned ones) in the second version was motion captured by me.

PS: Can someone remove my attachment?
