My material's colors are completely off from their Maya counterpart


I’m using the “embed media” option on a student copy of maya, trying my best to learn how to set this kind of thing up. It’s all of the default options on imports aside from me using the “point filtering” option in the import settings for the texture file itself.
As you can see, it’s changed certain pixel’s colors entirely, it’s definitely not just a lighting issue.

Do I have a fix for this or am I doomed for the void?

Found my answer, had to go to where the texture was stored and look to the right/middle tab marked “Default”. All the compression tools were right there.
