Looks Awesome! Only criticism I got is that the water to land part needs a “transition” its too sudden. But you probably are going to change that soon anyway. Also, really love the transparent building when the player is blocked.
Personally I think the scenery should go transparent a little sooner because the vehicle is hidden for a short time which could prove fatal for the player…
Also I agree with the lack of land ↔ water transition, removes from the seamlessness of the rest of the terrain.
Other than that no gripes at all. The shatterable scenery is a great addition. Possibility of blowing your way into an enemy base through their walls?
The GUI is nice and clean and unobtrusive too so good job there, that’s somewhere a lot of designers seem to fall short.
Thanks for all the positive comments it’s all very motivating and much appreciated. To answer some questions, the possibility of blasting your way into enemy base by destroying Walls is absolutely correct everything man made will be destructible. This won’t make it as easy as you would think though
Water to land will have waves yes, it’s on the todo
Performance at the moment I get 60fps locked in browser on my 9600gt and about 45 on the 9400m I know it’s a heavy game so will probanly require a gpu from the last 2-3 years minimum.
You can play it… Well the competition ends on 15th February so that’s the very longest you’ll have to wait, if i finish any earlier I will of course upload it straight away and let you all know
