My painted 'Detail Mesh' looks broken?

I’m wondering why it looks like it’s broken up into pieces. The larger I make the object (in maya then imported to unity) the better it looks. The smaller I make the object, the more broken it gets. All vertices are sewn in maya, there’s no open edges. My scale factor in Unity is 1. No rotation, no changes in scale or transforms.

Got it. “Healthy Color” and “Dry Color” have to be black…
