Well, this is my second published game on Android. I have learnt a lot in this forum, so I want to share with you my progress
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.Celescu.GemsStars
It’s not a match3 game but more similar to 2048. Please try it and all your feedback will be wellcome. In my first game (you can check it in my profile), the mechanim system was completly unknown for me, but in this game I have used it in a intensive way. It’s really useful.
This is the first day of released, so if there is some errors in your device, please comment it here and I’ll try fix it in a new version.
Thanks a lot
Celestino
My eyes may not be that good but I wasn’t able to start because the combination of the smallness of the instructions as well as the blending of their bright yellow color with the bright center of the galaxy background made it to where I couldn’t read it.
Thx for the feedback. You can disable the galaxy background in options menu (my wife recommended this, she didn’t like the background, :)).
Yesterday I upgrade to version 1.1 with some changes in fonts size and color , not at starting panel, though.
The starting panel with instructions is only a button. Click it and the playing countdown will start.
I developed the game with a 7"tablet, so in phones, maybe the size of the font are not the more appropiate.
I hope you enjoy and tell me please some others issues I can improve.
I’m not sure if I was grasping the concept fully but it seemed a bit akward and not totally responsive but I definitely think you should get other opinions about the gameplay. One thing though, I noticed the music is from minecraft. I feel not only that art that’s inspired from other art is not only okay or even good but that it’s unavoidable seeing as we all rearrange our memories to formulate anything “new” but to simply copy and paste something I feel is just too unoriginal and may even present legal issues.
I have ever been played minecraft. The music is downloaded from incompetech.com and freemusicarchive.com and they are well credited in the game. They are not mine neither from Minecraft group. Please, click Buttom credits and you can see it. If there are the same, its a coincidence . There are, I think, ten tracks and this music are licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0
