My sun disappeared on my directional lighting. How can I fix this?

Before I start, when I mention sun, I mean moon. I call it sun because that’s what it is actually called. It’s a sun in disguise.

I came across this problem where my sun from my directional lighting disappeared, as well as my sky for my physical based sky. It was working no long before and then just broke. This has happened a few times but luckily I noticed it before any massive changes and just restarted my unity without saving and fixed everything. However, I saved it without noticing this happened again and tried everything to fix it. I even made a mistake on switching to an older version that didn’t have too much changes and that was a bad idea as it caused too many issues. ( Resolved - Using Version Control completely broken my game - Unity Forum ), yeah, I made a post minutes ago about that. No because of this problem, I am not touching anything until someone has a straight answer. lol.

I have a video that I made of the trailer for Alpha 2. Yes, I know I am late for release but I was mainly busy because of school work and my full-time job. (Nightly Escape Alpha 2 Teaser #unity3d #teaser - YouTube). Now, here is an image of what it looks now. No sun, and no sky. I only noticed that there was no sky later on.

So, can anyone help I need this fixed ASAP as I postponed this long enough. No matter what I searched for on the internet, it didn’t help at all.

Which version of Unity?
Which render pipeline?
Which shader are you using for the Skybox? One of the shaders Unity ships with?

I am using Unity 2023.3.5f1
I am using the HDRP pipeline.
I believe I am using the one Unity ships with.

Hey it’s very difficult to say without more information
Are you using the PBR sky ? how many directional lights do you have in your scene ? are you sure affect physically based sky is enabled in the celestial body settings of the lights ? and are the directional lights in baked, realtime or mixed mode ?

Check that you have an override for “visual environment” also, on that override, make sure to use “Physically based sky”
