What is the status of this? Unity could really use something like this even it’s not quite as good as unreal.

Technically it’s available now. It’s just part of the Unity China release of the engine rather than the global one.

Virtual geometry in unity

I was surprised to see this in the Chinese documentation https://docs.unity.cn/cn/tuanjiemanual/Manual/VirtualGeometry.html what is it? anyone who lives on the other side of the iron curtain use it?
