am i wrong, or it’s a new feature that “normal” iOS U3D can have native plugins?
(see the updated Real-time tools for 3D, AR, and VR development | Products )
i am new to iOS and have the basic license… for me it’s a really great news!!
thanks
stefano
yes you can now use plugins on the non-pro iOS license, they became a new feature on that end.
but with u3 the old occlusion culling is no longer present, u3 does occlusion culling through umbra which is a pro only feature
dreamora, is there any performance trade-of/penally. … call it like you want :), when using plugins?
no, cause if you don’t call the function nothing happens
and if you call the function the pentalty will primarily be the one of the function you called
