Navmesh glitch - or maybe I'm doing it wrong


Hey there, just bought pro. Anybody else get those odd ridges in the Navmesh when they bake over terrain? I would just ignore it, except it causes my agents to jump when they cross over it.

I can’t seem to find any settings which alleviate the problem. Ideas?

I can not be the only one who has this problem. This is using default navmesh bake settings on a vanilla Unity terrain, and these ridge artifacts show up in many places all over any terrain I use.

There must be THOUSANDS of people out there with the same issue as I’m having, but no one here knows anything about this? No advice? No help at all? Please?
