Need a guide or a teacher

Hi, i just finished 12º grade in a programmer course and now i’m doing a gap year, and while doing that i would like to take this time to take a part time job to save for university and at night learn game programming.

My programmer course didn’t teach much tough we basically learned pascal and vb, the rest was a little of gimp/blender etc. so now i want to learn game programming, i know there are quite some guides and videos around, but i’m pretty sure there are some that teach way better than those so i came here to ask if someone could give a link to some good guides/videos, or if someone has enough time to teach me himself.

thanks for your time.

Here is a link to a C# series that I have personally made for Unity : http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL7rVTwUzzPyJs6bfjFYRSVzOs_nnWuUqy
-A lot of the techniques here will carry over to any type of object oriented programming that you will do.

Here is a link to MSDN Tutorials : Microsoft Learn: Build skills that open doors in your career
and a C# Keyword reference : http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/x53a06bb(v=vs.71).aspx
-I learn a ton from MSDN whether it is looking up a specific programming problem or fixing a bug in my code. The keywords will teach you what everything does.

Here is a link to C# Station : http://www.csharp-station.com/tutorial.aspx
-I used this as a starting point to learning C# and still reference it from time to time.

Hope some of these help! By downloading Unity you’ve taken a great step in the right direction to learning how to program games! If you have any questions feel free to ask!
