Need advice for assets on my game

This game is still a work in progress, needs more content, polishing and most importantly sound. I’m using music and sound effects from other games for now.

I don’t know which sound I want from the asset store because there is too much to choose especially since it needs to be fitting for this game, please post links on which sounds I should use, what I need is;
– Button UI Sound effects (Clicking, hovering over, cancelling)
– sound effects for starting levels, and fully loading them
– Shooting (Weak, Strong, Powerful)
– Damage, Death, Spawning
– Music
– Accomplishing, Failing a level

Expectations in the future
– 60 - 90 levels
– at-least 15 unique enemies and 10 allied units
– more 3d modeled level sets used to put together levels
– much much more…

Lastly what do you think of this skeleton of an idea. Would you spend money on it?

While getting money is important don’t focus on that.This is your first game,we are all ambitious at the start thinking we are gonna get millions from them.

The concept looks nice,like a campaign World of Tanks. From the looks of the game it seems you will spend most of your time in level designing. Personally i like the idea and i could see myself buying.

I would suggest to think about multiplayer also. Doesn’t need to be pvp. Just co op will make it a lot more fitting in my opinion.

edit : if u consider a rework to a 2d tile top down i think it will be a lot better visually and also develop a lot faster. This is just a suggestion,if u prefer 3d it’s up to you.

Later in the levels you will not only do infiltration (Capturing a network), but there will be conquest where you will have green units spawn and try to conquer red control points as they try to capture yours. Mini bosses will spawn at points, and Some lanes will have increases respawn time and unit count temporarily, you can spend upgrade points for your army so you’re not only focusing on your tank. I got this hole idea from Sly Cooper: Bently’s hacking missions and Deus Ex Breach.

A single 3d modeled room takes me around 20 minutes to make because monochrome+virtual reality is so simple to texture and model.

If tank/player design is mvp/temp at this point disregard next statement.
The upgrade menu shows the tank/player in a cinematic type view. Showing the tank/player in this manner is for showing off the art, and visual edits when upgrades are applied. But the art at this point is low quality/resolution. If you plan to update the tank/player quality/resolution bigly! this view will be acceptable to players, but at this point showing off low quality art is visually unappealing in my opinion.

I’m not a twitch shooter fan but I feel the speed of everything presented in the video is about 1/2 the speed at which it would be fun to play. I first noticed the reduced speed of the bullets, only moving one micro measurement faster than the players movement speed, then kind of realized everything in the video is moving quite slow. I think if you increased the speed x2 the gameplay would feel better.
