Hey thanks a lot, I saw that thread but didn’t see any replies that’s why I didn’t bother posting it there xD but I didn’t realized that there’s a series on the thread e.g #55#56
Would love to hear your feedback too!
@theANMATOR2b anyway I saw your game and it kinda reminds me of this game…
Hmm - I’ve never seen that game before - I’ll have to check it out.
Kinda - but not really. My game is based more in strategy with a core board switching mechanic, without much meta-game stuff. There game seems to be more rpg type rules with some pokemon like elements, but I can see they have base in tic-tac-toe - similar to mine.
I like the graphics of your game. It looks very clean and everything is timed well (better be for a rhythm game ;))
The one element that was confusing was the crown that kept transitioning back and forth from the top of the main board to the top of one of the two upper boards. I didn’t understand that - and might think there is a better way to display that instead of moving the crown back and forth all the time.
In particular I like the beat of the main score that seems to thump kind of timed to some music - if not the music that is playing. It looks nice.
Unfortunately though - I dislike rhythm games, so any feedback I can provide beyond visuals would not be helpful for you - better to get feedback from your core demographic.
Hi, thanks for your feedback, the community for rhythm game players is quite small imo… or rather they would prefer to play rhythm games with storyline in it such as Deemo or Cytus… sadly I can’t illustrate well and cannot think of a good storyline… just a small time programmer doing games as a hobby…
Well the crown means you are rank 1, it’s sort of client sided which means that if your score is highest, the crown will be with you, so what you see on your screen and another might not be the same as the other player’s score needs to go through some delay via socket.
