Hello, I was wondering, if I could get some advice on which VR Interaction Framework to choose. I saw the three most popular ones VRIF, Auto Hand and HurricaneVR. I propably want to create escape room / puzzle adventure games. When playing their respective demo scenes, I landed on Hurricane and Auto Hand, where i prefered Auto Hand, vut i’m not sure. Which would you advice or should I use the default XR Interaction Toolkit? Thanks!
Im wondering exactly the same mate, what did u find?
In the end I decided to just go with the XR interaction toolkit, because it was free and the simplest. Though that is also its biggest pitfall, as you will have to code a lot of the stuff yourself. Personally, i don’t really love it or hate it, but I find it quite hard to expand it, due to a lot of the methods being private. But overall, its fine for simpler games where the only interactions you need are grabbing items and UI. Also a big plus of it is the amount of tutorials on it. As for Autohand, it doesn’t seem to be updated often, and the discord is quite inactive, so you might have to find solutions to problems yourself.
