Need help for iphone development

Hi,
I am an IT engineer by profession.Me and my two friends are thinking to register as an iphone developer and registering as an business. We will all develop it by dividing portion to each one.The only reason I can see registering as a business would be for branding.I need you to share your thoughts about this.
Thanks.

Brand recognition is only important if you have a brand. If I’ve learned one thing developing for iPhone, it is:

“Don’t put the cart before the horse”

Start small, and see how your sales go. Of course, IF you do land a successful title, changing your name would require re-registering with Apple, repaying the fee, and requiring your user base to re-purchase your app. Which might be a pain in the butt, or it might not. If it turns out to be a big problem, you have probably made enough money and acquired a large enough instal base, that you will be able to navigate your way through the transition without too much trouble.

My advice is: if it is not a problem to register as a company (not to be confused with a ‘registered’ company, i.e. registered trader) then you should do that as long as you have a name you can live with for a while. Make sure if you are not the itunes connect master of disaster, that you sign a contract ensuring your %s.

Otherwise, just create your app and see how it goes.
