Need Help in 3DS Max 2014

Hello Unity!

I have created one side of the pent but when I use my symmetry for the other side, it’s creating odd results. That is the same thing happened when is use ‘Make Plane’ tool on X direction to the selected edges.
Uploading screenshots for more reference.
I have tried View, Local, tested flip to all 3 direction, changed object pivot but still getting the same results.
Help Much Appreciated.
Thank You,
Best Regards,
Active

I don’t think this is a good place to ask for help on this topic.

There’s a sub-forum:
Forum>Unity Community Support>External Tools
http://forum.unity3d.com/forums/22-External-Tools

That might be slightly more helpful. But the best would be to ask at a modelling / 3ds max forum/website instead of the unity game engine forum

what Fuzzy said.

You might wanna change the mirror rotation in the symmetry modifier.

Just ResetXForm on this object.

There is no option to change the mirror rotation. I can only rotate using rotation tool but it won’t give 100% results.

I’ve reset the XForm from the Utilities Menu but it did change anything only my object look more worse.
Added screenshot for more reference.

Could anyone help to solve this simply ?
The symmetry box, XForm or etc… it’s by default tilted. I don’t know the reason.

Huh, you added XForm only on selected edges? You need to apply XForm on whole object.

Whenever I do this kind of stuff, I collapse the one side to an edible poly and then go about adding symmetry and other crap. I never really find a need to reset the xform. But I do recall having a similar issue in the past.

One thing you can do to fix this issue is;
-delete the symmetry if you have one and any other modifiers.
-collapse the model to edible poly.
-make a sphere and change it to an edible poly.
-with the sphere selected, attach the model to it so that the model and sphere are both now the same object.
-go the the sub-object menu and select element, select the sphere and delete it. The xform should be fixed.
-you can then go to move the Hierarchy and select “affect pivot only” and put it where you want.

Thanks a lot for help, it worked out

Thank you each and everyone of you for helping. My problem is fixed.
God Bless ya All !
