Hi everyone! I’m new to making games and I really need help with a problem. I’m making a space game in 3d, and I wanted to create a parallax-type effect for the background. I created the front background image using gimp and exported it as a png with the 16bpc rgba pixel format. the image looked like this;

I imported the file into unity and dragged the texture onto a quad. There was now a black filler in between the stars, so I clicked “alpha is transparent” in the inspector and the image changed to this:

I’ve been looking for a solution to this problem for about four hours now, but haven’t found anything. Someone please save me from myself and tell me how easy this is to fix! lol
