i wont to send my first game atempt to a frend after bulding it but it wont work for them what am i not do or doing rong

If you truly did go File > Build Settings, and built the game, then there should be two files that appear, a folder and the exe. In order to play the game you need BOTH. Make sure they are in the same destination as well. If you are zipping the file and sending it to a friend make sure to zip BOTH or else it wont work.
