Need help preparing to purchase IOS basic.

Hi guys!
So I currently have Unity Free on my PC and Macbook. However, I’m unable to find the full serial number (I have Free). I can’t find the email that contains the full serial number(total fail on my part) and the “About” section is missing the last 4 digits. Ugh I wish it was tied to my Asset Store account:P It looks like for me to buy the IOS version I have to include my Free version serial…or potentially F up my install right? I guess I’m worried that I’ll go to install my IOS basic serial and there’ll be a serial number mismatch or something awkward like that.

So what is the proper way to contact support about this? I’ve looked all over the Unity forums for a support channel (I doubt this is the right thread for serial number stuff). Anyways, if someone could point me in the right direction it’d be great!

If you buy an addon ie basic license, then it will get tied to your main free account. Therefore it is important to know these details. Hopefully someone can help. Support email is support@unity3D.com

Nothing to worry.

if you don’t have bought a license you just don’t provide any on the store and select the free unity license as base license in the first category.
the first real license you get is the one from a buy and thats the one you will use in the future :slight_smile:

And no worry that you ‘fuck anything up’ cause you will replace the old serial with the new one, it won’t be the same.

you dont need to provide anything for unity ios basic, just your email that you want the serial number to arrive, i kow this because i bought unity ios basic aprox 2 weeks ago

after you buy it you need to provide that email and the serial to use your remaining activation, if after some time you need another activation , you need to email unity to give you a new one but deactivate the last, as far as i know you only can have 2 activations at any given moment , at least thats how it was before
