The game was a scroller shooter, 2 jets/space ships -one player red, one player blue,- seen from above.
It was very similar to the Raiden shooter games, but what I remember the most about this game is that the special power for the jets were not bombs… there was one special attack were you’d unleash a dragon that runs all over the screen destroying enemies, and there was another one that you would blast a very thick laser (as thick as your ship) that would take the form of a sword… and I think (not a very reliable memory) that one of the words in the title was “sword.”
