If your question is how to change view (front, right, top…) without numpad, then the answer is: Open Blender, go to File-User Preferences-Input
and on the left side check Emulate Numpad, with that you can change views by numbers on your laptop keyboard. After that click Save As Default so you don’t need to repeat this on every new project, but make sure to do this in default scene, because it will save every change you made.
You can also select which axis to move something along by hitting ‘G’ (grab), then the axis you want to move along ‘X’, ‘Y’, or ‘Z’. Go G,Z will move something along the Z axis.
@niosop thank you ill try it ![]()
ok i tried it when i try to model the barrel of the gun this what happens it wants to roll on me you can see in the image here
Check some tutorials about modeling: http://blenderlinks.com/
If you are planing to model this and import in Unity, it needs to be low-poly, the the cylinder for your barrel has 32 edges, that is way to many, there is no reason to be more then 12, but you can do it with less then that.
@ Stec thank you I’m going to watch them tutorials and how can you till how many edges on it ![]()
