Need some tips on my object avoidance

Been working on this all day, not too proud.

It works with raycasts, but it just doesn’t seem right.

Could anyone please help me out with it? here is the webplayer:

It’s just raycasts, I scripted it myself.

I was looking to get some help on it cause it’s not that good :L

Just some ideas for the game, but i’m not really the type of guy to look at for help with scripting or whatever…
I know you’re just starting on it :slight_smile:

Change the floor color a bit maybe, and change the color of the bullets. Make it a bit more… flashy? Make it exciting!
Or if you don’t want him to start with super flashy bullets, make it so you can get upgrades?Just use your imagination :stuck_out_tongue:
Go look at the game “beat hazard” and then go back and work on your bullets.
It may give you some ideas on some bullet types. Lol :stuck_out_tongue:

I noticed that your character moves at the same pace no matter what way you are turned.
Could you possibly make it so that your a slight bit slower when your turned around (walking backwards)

Also, make different types of enemies. You probably had this already going, obviously, but just throwing that in there :stuck_out_tongue:

I really do like games like this. They always come packed full of potential.
